I went to the walk in, she said to lift up the nail and put tea tree oil and vicks on it... and so does the internet... The thing is, its not lose, and the fungus isn't growing in a way that will make it lift off very soon... its pretty much shooting through the middle.
the nail isn't thick. its always been a little brittle cause of my lack of vitamins and nutrients in my diet... and its just a little yellow. so i don't think its that advanced it's probably about 2 to 3 weeks int he making.. i noticed a small annoying type of pain about a week ago... thought it was just because i had clipped my nail...
well im scared as anything. my mother says Epsom salts and soap in hot water... the doctor at the clinic says to pull the nail up and rub tea tree oil and vicks on it... but the nail is still attached and experts widely agree that nails aren't supposed to be forced off. my dad says to use a flat metal object and dig the fungus out... im not even 100% sure it IS fungus.. it COULD be a nasty infection.
i might post a photo of it later...
ANY INFORMATION ON THE APPLICATION OF TTO or VICKS WOULD BE MORE THAN APPRECIATED!

I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly, because you tread on my dreams.
